OUR STORY

Our story all started when I was introduced to keeping Honey Bees by someone who became my very best friend and husband.
I was a little intimidated at first, however I quickly grew to love and respect these cute little furry pollinators through a lens of admiration. To this day, honey bees have become a big part of our world while learning how to respectively co-exist in theirs. This evolving awareness continues to be a big part of our daily lives, while feeling much gratitude in beeing allowed to share in their prized possessions; Honey and their beautiful pure Beeswax!
Honey soon became the main staple in our menu but was absent in all our chemically drenched store bought skincare products. Furthermore, a more connected understanding of the benefits in burning pure beeswax in candle form, seemed to compliment a subtle but sought after lifestyle change and a new age was born in our humble home. From understanding the powerful benefits of raw honey, natures perfect food, and the incredible benefits of pure Beeswax, it inspired a continued learning journey in the repair and maintenance of our skin while adding complimenting health benefits from burning pure Beeswax. Through much trial and error From the Hive was established in 2014.
Every one of our soaps and related skincare products are meticulously handcrafted with raw honey, paying particular attention in using ingredients found from ‘Mother Nature’ herself. Our Honey Soaps and pure PEI Beeswax Candles are handmade, hand-cut and hand-wrapped leaving an individual uniqueness for all to enjoy!
